Payments and bookings
Places on Blueyondertours are limited and places are only secured on payment of the appropriate deposit.
All deposits should be made at time of booking, together with a completed booking form.
Deposits are £50 per person for UK tours and £100 per person for European tours
Cheques to be made payable to “Blueyonder Motorcycle Tours” and sent to Blueyondertours, 30 Collingwood Close, Eastbourne, BN23 6HW
On Blueyondertours receipt of the deposit you will receive a booking confirmation receipt and an invoice for the balance of your tour cost which must be paid at least 5 weeks (35 days) prior to departure. Failure to submit your balance payment in time may result in the cancellation of your booking. Bookings made within four weeks of departure will be accepted only on full payment of the tour cost.
Received monies will be bonded in a Trust account.
Tours require a minimum of five guests to be viable, in the unlikely event that there are insufficient numbers on a tour, those clients who have already paid a deposit will be offered a full value credit towards an alternative tour or a full refund of any monies paid.
If the client cancels his or her booking the following refunds will apply within:
a) 50 - 31 days of departure, full refund less £20 administration fee
b) 30 - 21 days of departure, 50% refund less £20 administration fee
c) less than 21 days nil refund
Responsibilities
Once you have signed the tour booking application form you agree to abide by these terms and conditions unconditionally.
Specifically Blueyondertours require:

All Clients machines used on a tour must be road legal, with legal registration plates, fully insured for the rider and pillion (if one is carried), presented in a roadworthy condition and with a current MOT certificate if applicable.

Each Client participating on a tour is responsible for his or her motorcycle, its use and conformity with the laws of country visited. Clients are also entirely responsible for their pillion passenger.

Clients must be in possession of a valid insurance certificate for his or her vehicle.

If touring outside the UK then each Client must arrange full repatriation cover for his/her machine and themselves.

Any incidents or accidents that could happen to a Client participating on a tour will not be the responsibility of the tour organiser.

If a motorcycle is out of order due to accident or breakdown, the repair and recovery is the full and sole responsibility of the Client rider.

If a Client participating on a tour decides to leave the tour early then he or she does so in the knowledge that no refund can be made.

Blueyondertours requires all Client riders to ride and behave in a responsible and safe manner. If in the opinion of the Tour Leader a Client is behaving in a way which is detrimental to the enjoyment of the tour by other Clients or is riding in a manner prejudicial to the safety of the other Clients, Blueyondertours staff or members of the public, then that Client will be asked to leave the tour with immediate effect and without re-course to appeal or refund.

The Client is responsible for carrying all appropriate and required legal documents (including passports or visas) for the tour in which he/she is participating.
Changes to tours
On occasion due to unforeseen operational issues, it may be necessary to make some minor changes to tour itinerary, accommodation or timings. Blueyondertours will aim to keep these to an absolute minimum and we will endeavour to ensure that this does not result in a reduction in the quality of tour offered. Blueyondertours will provide advance notification of any changes to the published programme to Clients as early as possible. In the case of a significant change – example, change of week of or point of departure then if a Client chooses to cancel his/her booking then he/she will be offered the opportunity of a credit refund to alternative tour or a refund equivalent to
£30 for significant changes notified less than 7 days prior to departure
£20 for significant changes notified less than one month prior to departure
nil refund for notifications over one month in advance of departure.
Force majeure
If a tour is unable to go ahead, or is interrupted due to circumstances beyond Blueyondertours control such as, threat of war, terrorist action, riot, civil unrest or disobedience, industrial disputes, unavoidable technical problems with transport links, port closures or adverse weather conditions then Blueyondertours will not make refunds or compensation payments to Clients participating on that tour.
Tour surcharges
Tour prices are released in December for application the following year. No surcharges will apply except where they are a direct result of Government (national or EU) changes to taxes or travel fees. In these cases surcharges will be levied up to a maximum of 5% of the published tour cost.
Complaints
Any complaints should initially be taken up with the Tour Leader. If this fails to produce a satisfactory resolution then the complainant should address details of the complaint in writing to Blueyondertours.
