An eye-popping rollercoaster of a tour taking in some of the best biking roads you will ever experience anywhere and its right here, on your doorstep. This is one tour not to be missed. Mixing some of the UK’s most stunning scenery with a breathtaking and occasionally challenging mix of A, B and minor upland roads.
Starting with a meet-up at our hotel in Monmouth on the Friday night, the wise-cracks and fun will soon be in full flow. Saturday will see you covering over 200 miles, but as always with Blueyondertours the well thought out and regular breaks for re-fuelling of you and your bike will mean you can enjoy yourself without feeling the strain. We overnight Saturday in Dolgellau and you will enjoy a fantastic Blueyondertours gourmet dinner at our hotel whilst you re-live the day’s exploits with your fellow Blueys.

Sunday roll-out - and just when you thought it couldn’t get any better, it does! More of Blueyonder’s special mix of roads, scenery and sights (we don’t mind getting all touristy every now and then), takes us to places such as Devil’s Bridge and the stunning Elan Valley. The day ends with a fantastic run in to Chepstow, for a very well earned rest with all saying, “See you again soon!” to new and old friends on Monday morning.

Minster and Mountains 22nd May – 25th May
A classic tour taking in Yorkshire’s broad acres and Cumbria’s wild mountains.
You will be able to let your bike flow from corner to corner and then when we stop you can take in the beautiful Dales landscape as popularized by James Herriot. If you have never ridden in North Yorkshire before you are in for a real treat, this is true bike country! Finally the awesome beauty of the Lake District awaits and some of the most technical of all the UK’s roads. Enjoy!
We start with a 9.30am meet-up at the OK Diner on the A1 near Stamford. From there we will ride through rolling Lincolnshire countryside, dropping in at Cadwell Park^ before crossing over the jaw-dropping Humber Bridge in to God’s County to start our riding of Yorkshire’s brilliant roads, looping round through the North Yorkshire Wolds and moors to end the day in the medieval city of York.
Saturday we roll-out of York early (so go easy on the sherberts on Friday night!) and ride up through the best of North Yorkshire past the Fylingdales Attack Early Warning Station to Whitby, dropping in to the Dales via Sutton Bank. We will ride through some of Yorkshire’s best to cross over in to Cumbria and our base for the next two nights, Kendal. Sunday will see us ride the Lakes’ mountain roads and, weather and traffic conditions permitting, the Honister, Wrynose and Hardknott passes.
Sunday night is spent back at our hotel in Kendal before departing for home Monday morning.
Prices from £275 per person, three nights b&b accommodation, in a shared room, single room supplement £15 ppn.

The Somme 1st – 3rd July
The name The Somme resonates down the years. The memory of the terrible carnage of July 1916 still lives on today. Here at Blueyondertours we are bikers with a real sense of history and this tour has been deliberately timed to coincide with start of The Battle of The Somme on 1st July. We will ride through beautiful rolling Picardy and Somme countryside and call at the historic towns of Arras and Albert.
The meet-up is at Dover docks at 8.00am on Wednesday after disembarking at Calais we will ride the terrific coast road to Boulogne before cutting inland to get to grips with rural France’s lovely open and rolling D roads. We will visit Vimy Ridge before ending the first day in the beautiful and cosmopolitan old town of Arras which will be our base for the tour.

Thursday see’s us following The Somme battlefield circuit de souvenir including the moving memorials of Beaumont Hamel, Thiepval and Lochnagar crater and the town of Albert, before ending the day by a return ride to Arras.
Friday takes us on a great circuitous ride back to the port of Calais for the late afternoon ferry through, what is a surprisingly beautiful part of France. If you are relatively new to biking, this is a great introductory tour to France which is more laid back than the other tours. If you have a passion for history too, it’s a sure fire winner.
Prices from £269 per person based on two nights bed and breakfast accommodation in a shared room, single room supplement £20 ppn. Price also includes return ferry crossing on Sea France Ferries. Pillion price £129.
