  Simon Knight

 Instructor

I am looking forward to my first season at CRS after 2 years working for Outward Bound Wales; I am also looking forward to moving back to the South West. My main passion in the outdoors is for mountain sports including rock climbing, mountaineering and skiing.

Most of my time off is spent doing these in the UK and abroad. I am a keen surfer, Kayaker and canoeist, and enjoy working in the outdoor industry as this gives me the opportunity to help others have positive experiences in the outdoors.

  Chris Brooker

 Instructor

Until recently I worked in the finance Industry, I decided to leave the mundane 9-5 office work behind and move into the outdoors. It is the best decision I have ever made and I find myself becoming more and more passionate about it every day. I have always been active, with a keen interest in martial arts including Karate and Kick-Boxing.

I have just completed an intensive four month instructor training course over the winter. This Included Sport Climbing in Spain, Trad Climbing in Devon and Canoeing and Kayaking on the rivers Plym, Dart and Tamar.

White water Kayaking is currently my favourite outdoor sport, and I am very interested in getting involved in Surfing.I am looking forward to the challenges working with CRS will present to me, particularly developing my skills in both coaching and the sports themselves.
